Provincial Engineering and Geoscience Month: 2026 Spaghetti Bridge Competition - Registration Now Open
As part of Provincial Engineering and Geoscience Month and Provincial Engineering and Geoscience Week, our annual Spaghetti Bridge Competition, in support of Harvest Manitoba, will return! Students in K - Grade 12 compete to build the strongest truss using just pasta and white or wood glue, then watch as we test it to destruction! The builder(s) of the strongest truss in each class wins a prize and a donation will be made to Harvest Manitoba based on the cumulative load that all of the trusses hold.
Entry into the 2026 Spaghetti Bridge Competition is free, but pre-registration is required by the Friday, February 27, 2026 deadline. For more information on the competition, the prizes, and how to register, please see the Spaghetti Bridge webpage.
