Looking Back Through Our Century: October 1956
On October 27, 1956, Manitoba highway engineers moved the Assiniboine river. By making the river flow under a bridge they built on dry land, a substantial saving was claimed due to not having to straddle the river during construction. Continuing Competency Committee Modifies Targets of the ProDev Program for 2020
The Continuing Competency Committee (CCC) agreed to modify the targets of the ProDev program for the 2020 calendar year. Go Eng Girl is a free annual opportunity for all girl-identified youth in grades 7-9 to explore the world of engineering and technology. This year's participants will be introduced to 3D modelling. Participants and their parents/guardians will also be invited to a presentation from the Price Faculty of Engineering about what a degree and career in engineering look like.
