Thank You to Our Volunteers!

Competency Based Assessment Pilot
In February 2021, EngGeoMB began the implementation of the Competency Based Assessment (CBA) pilot which will eventually replace the time-based experience reporting currently completed by interns. Assessors are needed to make this pilot a success! For more information on CBA, including a short video, see the news story.
Certificates of Authorizations are set to expire April 30, 2021. If you have not yet renewed, please renew online. If your company is no longer providing services within the province, please complete the Cancellation of Certificate of Authorization form.
Last week to submit your abstracts! The deadline for submitting abstracts for Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba's annual Ingenium conference to be held in a virtual format in October 2021 is on April 30. The Association welcomes abstracts for presentations on any topic related to engineering, geoscience, and the professionals who practise in those fields. Professional Development Opportunities
Join PEMAC Winnipeg Chapter for their next professional development event where they will explain how facilities are adapting to the pandemic by leveraging the benefits of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). For more information, see the event listing.
Practitioners are invited by the Council of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba to an online engagement session. The purpose of this meeting is to report on the activities of Council with topics including notes from the past year, pandemic financial status, strategic priorities, and more.
